Barbara, I for one was VERY impressed with this program. I carefully read through
each grade level's curricula, and I believed it to be well-presented in an
age-appropriate manner. For a few minutes I even fantasized that MY state (and
specifically my daughter's school) would implement something similar.
If this is bordering on off-topic, forgive me, but I would love to hear how this
program is received, by the teachers, students, and parents. What kind of
feedback are you getting?

And at least at the higher grade levels (and  I believe that's where the formula
company pamphlets are used?) this would give the students good exercise in
critical reading.

I offer my heartiest congratulations to all who had a part in this. It is
something to be proud of, and something that I believe will have a major impact
on attitudes toward breastfeeding in NY, at least.
