I have a hard time believing this. Something doesn't seem right here.
Normal jaundice cause from dehydration can be rectified with improved
feedings as stated in research by Decarvalho, et.al.
jaundiced caused by Rh is practically non existent these days thanks to
Rhogam. Jaundice caused by ABO incompatibility can be corrected with
careful monitoring of bili levels and if extreme exchange transfusions.
But Infants can still be fed mother's milk. Jaundice caused by infection
and other liver problems can still be fed mother's milk & Breastmilk
Jaundice is a natural occurring phenomenon & doesn't cause a great deal
of problems. What is left? Are we sure those 8 cases were normal term
infants or was there a physical anomaly associated with these babies?
