Accessibility of research and readability of research have got to be big
factors in whether or not research is used.  I'm  off to the hospital
library to try and find Maurene's article written in nurse-ese or
goobly-gook!  I had the hardest time when writing my thesis.  I wanted to
say things in plain English and my advisor kept telling me to say it this
way or that which I felt obscured the info rather than making it plain.
Research writers seem  to  use a "formula" and vocabulary that is foreign
to the average reader.   Probably why I have a major writer's block at this
point to turning my research into any sort of a useful article. Sincerely,
