Dear Anne,

If this mom plans on breastfeeding at some point, she should be regularly
pumping at this time.  Wouldn't hurt for her to be pumping until she
decides for sure about nursing (as already noted, numerous references on
Hep C available, lots in archives).  At this stage, milk production is
being driven more by hormones than supply/demand and pumping will simply
keep the breast comfortable and keep the milk coming rather than increase
supply to any great degree.
