I guess I'd better get my 7 week old into the doctor right away! Just joking.
He too has had infrequent bowel movements (unlike my first who pooped almost
every time he nursed--for months) which are quite watery--very little
substance and few, if any, little white curds. Since he's happy, growing--if
it isn't broken why fix it? Each of my three children has had very different
"poop characterists" as newborns. I was fortunate to have a pediatrician who
thought human milk was good for everything and never suggested formula.
Anyway, this is my story. Maybe the mom will feel better if she knows her
baby isn't the only one.
