The mothers who choose to have the oral administration of vit K here in
Australia (well, wherever I have worked anyway) get the injectable form
given orally.  Now, hearsay has it that babies who have this will often
refuse to breastfeed or have poor sucking technique afterwards - I believe
it is rather unpleasant to taste.
