There is absolutely no reason to wean with rotavirus gastroenteritis or any
other gastroentiris  -- the reverse is true:  BM mucin inhibits rotavirus (see
ref below).  The AAP came out with wonderful guidelines re gastroenteritis -
basically feed THROUGH it and babies (and children ) will do BETTER.  Refs
