Hi, my name is Jennifer Landels, I'm a childbirth educator, and I
hope I can get some breastfeeding advice from you.

I have a client who is near term and has been prescribed Fraxiparine
injections for deep vein thrombosis. I have never heard of it, but I
think it must be a form of heparin. After delivery they will
probably switch her to oral Coumadin. However, she is willing to
stay with the injections if Fraxiparine would be safer for
breastfeeding.

I've checked the archives, and found several posts on
warfarin/coumadin, but none on Fraxiparine. Hope someone can help me
here.
