The hospital standards of care, policies and procedures, etc. are NOT open to
the public in the USA.  They must be requested by on official body (eg JCAHO)
or supoened by lawyers, courts.  In some cases hospitals copywrite and sell
these things - they they are public domain.  I can understand how a hospital
would not want it's dirty linen aired in public, but to threaten termination
is ridiculous - I would talk to a lawyer!
