My initial reaction was that the WC request was crazy, but not being
familiar with hospital practices, I didn't want to comment. Since Jon
asked, I will just say that he sounds like he is on the money.   If that
LC were to hire employees then WC might very well be required, but for an
independent contractor, it does not sound right.
