Thanks to everyone who contacted Maya's Angels with offers of support,
suggestions for treatment and kind words for Maya.  We have made some
progress in our efforts to help this La Leche League Leader in the
Republic of Georgia (former USSR).

This update is now appearing on the web page set up for Maya,
<http://www.prairienet.org/~sak/maya.html>  and reprinted here for
anyone who can't access web sites.....

1. Reliable fax, phone, and email contact has now been established with
Maya.
2. Two doctors (one from the US and one from Germany) have agreed to
review her medical records.
3. In appreciative response to those who have expressed an interest in
donating money, the "The Maya Sartania Fund" has been set up. You may

offset postage, fax, phone and/or other costs incurred by Maya's Angels

to an end will be donated to the organization(s) whose service and
support are deemed to have been invaluable to these efforts in one or
more ways.
