One of the most imteresting things I've seen in the last few years that I
think might be invaluable to show is a film that shows how a just-born baby,
placed on mom's chest, roots it's way to the breast without help! Then it
shows a baby who is hours (?) old and how it cannot find the breast without
help. Also shows how to repattern (I think that was the term) by mom and babe
bathing together, encouraging babe to find the breast again.
I was just shown clips of this film--do not know what it was called, who it
was made by, etc, but I suspect many of you out there do...It really had an
impact on me, and I have been teaching breastfeeding for years!
