Hi all,
Just have to vent a little. I gave a presentation today at a local mommy&me
place here in sunny south Florida. The topic was "Nighttime Parenting" I am
always amazed at the vast numbers of women who get so defensive at even the
slightest mention of co-sleeping. There was even one mom who had nursed her
first baby for 18 months. Then with baby #2 decided to get "Baby Wise" and
would not have "life any other way", She complained angrily about "still
having to lay down with her 2 year old to get her to sleep". She blamed it
all on the idea that the "awful habit" of laying down with children to
nurse them or get them to sleep.
Leaves me feeling so sad for the little ones in this country.
I wonder why some women never "get it".
Oh well...so many babies, so little time
