Just had to share with you a phone call BSC received today. It was from a
woman who had seen a piece on breastfeeding on the local news station. She
immediately contacted the local ILCA affiliate group to find out how she can
become a lactation consultant. They referred her on to BSC. The lactation
field is beginning to benefit from all the media coverage, even if there are
parts of the coverage we might take exception to.  We might not like
everything that is said, or the way breastfeeding is portrayed, but at least
they're talking about breastfeeding! Quite a difference from even a year or
two ago.
