Tom, I agree with you 100% and I don't understand why we rush these moms
to get vaccinated immediately after birth. Just what exactly is the risk
of their conceiving the first couple of months when they are indeed
breastfeeding and/or pumping?  Statistically, the risks are very low, and
we know how to safely compensate if we want 100% coverage.  If a mom
hasn't gotten rubella thus far, it is highly unlikely that she's going to
get it in this window unless she's in the middle of an epidemic.
