"My personal belief is that, because God is
present in these homes, God more than makes up for any inadequacies
suffered in infancy surrounding feeding. The parents shower love and
attention on their little ones, but differently than you or I would."
Thank you for your comments, Katharine. It gives me a really closer look at
this approach than I have had in the past. I have not had the fortune to be
in contact with someone who accepts this "philosophy." Maybe that is better
for me, as I woulnd't have much patience with this.
Would that God could devote time **elsewhere*** than to filling in the
voids that have been deliberately created, *ironically* in His/Her Name. I
think that His/Her time could be better spent elsewhere, and would that all
babies' needs could be met, at least for a little bit of time. Sigh. I
think that the entire approach is terribly misguided, and for those
responsible for creating this approach to have the gaul to attach it to
God's name, implying that God would endorse the process of creating a
depressed and hungry infant, really sets my teeth on edge.
Sigh.
