Cindy, is there any way you can gently point out to her that you are an
IBCLC, and hardly likely to learn anything about lactation from someone who
works for an infant formula company?  In other words, that you will know a
lot more about the topic than the speaker?  And that, in fact, the speaker
will probably be deliberatly giving false and erroneous and misleading
information?  Seems to me that kind of like asking, say, a Methodist
minister to go to a cult leader's meeting because the cult leader is going
to be talking some about issues relating to Jesus Christ, and the minister
"might learn something."  Yikes!
