I'm also with you, Val. Bras are designed to support the breasts while the
woman is in an upright position. When she lies down, the shape of the
breast alters and the weight distribution changes. Add to this the changing
size of the lactating breast as it fills with milk, and blocked ducts are a
very real risk.

I suggest to mothers that absorbent padding or nursing pads can be easily
held in place while sleeping by wearing a snug-fitting singlet or crop top.
This certainly worked for me.
