Hi all!

I am communicating with a pregnant mom who has silicone implants. The
implant in the right breast "burst". She is trying to determine if she
should breastfeed. Since she is ultra-conservative on this matter, I
suggested that maybe she consider just nursing on the left breast. She is
concerned that the left one will burst also. She feels if there is any
potential danger to her baby, she does not want to take the risk. Obviously
there are health risks if she doesn't breastfeed. I'd love to hear your
comments on this issue... Debbie Albert, IBCLC Tampa, FL
