<< Have mom "anesthetize" baby's gums with frozen teething ring or even rub
ice
cube on gums, make a game of it, then try to get baby to nurse. If she pulls
off and screams again, repeat the ice-rub. My kids went berserk when
teething, so my sympathies to the mom. >>
My daughter also cut her top front four teeth all at the same time and kept
pulling off the breast crying. A good thing to try is to put some crushed ice
into a clean baby sock and tie off the top. Since it can "mold" around the
gum, this can often be helpful for painful teething. The fabric is easy and
comfortable for baby to handle and babies like the texture of the fabric,
too.
