An inquiry was posted regarding supplementing a baby who only breastfeeds
with a nipple shield in place.  I have used the silicon M....la  shield
with a number 5 french feeding tube placed through the existing holes in
the shield.  The first time I did this I was thrilled with how slickly the
system worked.  Moms like it because the baby gets the entire feeding at
the breast, rather than following up with finger feeding.
