Someone mentioned "febrile candidiasis" in a post recently. Is this
something from yet another misinformed doctor or something real?
I feel great sympathy for all of you trying to get help for women with
nipple /breast thrush. I hear these stories all the time and sometimes
feel the need to scream when I hear what some women go through because of
poor management of their breastfeeding problems. (As a doctor myself, I
feel entitled to scream at some of my colleagues ;) )

<She reports a deep "hot" feeling in the right breast> Nancy, this sounds
like thrush too.
Linda, your woman should ask for more fluconazole - one dose is not
enough, esp following a course of antibiotics.
