One of the suggestions in LLLI's jaundice booklet, courtesy of Kathleen
Auerbach and Larry Gartner (1987), is that in cases of true breastmilk
jaundice the mother's milk can be heat treated (56 celsius for 15 min) to
destroy whatever the troublesome component is. This sure seems like a
better idea than using formula for a few days. Anyone have any experience
with this?
