Thanks to Dr. Katherine Dettyler, Joya and all who wrote about high
prolactin levels 2 and a half months after "weaning"

Just heard today that the woman had a CAT Scan and it revealed a
prolactinoma. Her Dr. said that she should go on Bromocriptine mesylate for
life. My friend who is a IBCLC (not on Lactnet) is asking me to ask
Lactnetters if anyone has had experience with this. She feels that some of
the side effects of Bromocriptine are significant. The mom is 31 years old
and in her childbearing years, would like more children. She had been on
Chlomid prior to conceiving this baby, who is almost 9 months old. Somehow,
though they feel she had decreased cilia in her tubes and that was why she
hadn't conceived. (By the way, the woman tried the sage tea, prior to the
CAT Scan and said it tasted pretty awful. Any suggestions to make it more
palatable - eg. mix it in chicken soup?)

Thanks for all your help and urgings to have the CAT Scan and MRI - You were
right on!
