Health Canada published a report entitled Nutrition for Health: An Agenda
for Action and in it identified four goals to address:
        1) Reinforce healthy eating practises
        2) Support nutritionally vulnerable populations
        3) Continue to enhance the availability of foods that support
healthy eating
        4) Support nutrition research

Each goal has key actions listed and breastfeeding was represented as #7
under the first goal.  It is: Protect and promote breastfeeding and improve
access to community-based support groups.  Unfortunately the breastfeeding
advocates who were involved were unable at this time to get breastfeeding
mentioned under the other goals or in the Outcome indicators, Determinant
Indicators or Process Indicators.  We still have a long way to go but it's
nice to see at least some steps being taken.
