I didn't hear of it and I'm 60 km. away.  There was such a
demonstration in Montreal, in a shopping mall in 1996.  It occurred
after a woman who was asked to leave the mall sued the mall and
received several thousand dollars compensation.  It was a celebratory
nurse-in.  (Losing the money probably does more for the mall's
attitude than any law--there is no law protecting breastfeeding in
Quebec).
