To Jack,
        I'm feeling this urge to comfort! Okay I'll say it right out loud!
I, too, love gentian violet! I love the way that beautiful color quickly
spreads over that nasty thrush making it almost disappear before my very
eyes. I hear our local peds voices ringing in my ear "You don't want to use
that messy stuff" as I take pride in not getting one spot on the babies
lips.
        But Jack I must admit that I suffer from guilt over this precious
fluid. I hear voices in the distance about rats drinking the stuff and
croaking from some weird type of cancer. I have thought that others are
probably talking behind my back. Now I feel better knowing that they are
definitely talking behind OUR backs!
