Linda Stewart- Your question about the unexplainable appearance of a
bruised area on the breast grabbed my attention.
I, too, discovered a very similiar 1 1/2 inch diameter deeply purple colored
round mark on the outer aspect of my (also smallish) R breast about 6 weeks
ago. I had no memory of any trauma to the area. I watched it with curiosity
for 5 days as it became darker and then faded into a yellowish purple look
of a bruise until it faded away in 7 or 8 days.
I thought...geez... I'm so busy I must be unaware of having banged my breast
into something! No, I'm not lactating but I thought it sounded very similiar.
When I was at the end of my pregnancies I was usually a little nuts about
cleaning and moving furniture around to make my nest perfect I'm sure I
could have easily bruised my breast without noticing.
I may be wrong but it sounds like its a bruise.
