Hi All,
As mosts of you know I have been working with many moms who have lost or had
severe crashes in their milk supplies because they were given BC pills,
either mini or combo, right after delivery.
For our Lawyers: Do these moms have a case against the hosp or Dr for doing
this?

Ine mom in particular desperately wanted to BF her baby. The Dr gave her a
little book on BC pills before she had her baby, and said "Pick one that
looks good." There was no info in the book stating that BF moms SHOULD NOT
take the BC pill because it would crash her supply (talking specifically
about a combo pill) and the Dr, who was told she wanted to BF, did not tell
her that this med would crash her supply. Now, of course, her baby has been
forced to take ABM, refuses to BF (nothing there!) and mom is distraught, and
furious.
Any advice? Anybody else know someone who filed a lawsuit like this one?

Thanks!
Jay
