Hi Pat - Thanks for your letter. The parents reported that
when the mom was on the elimination diet the baby got
worse...so they are reluctant to continue in this vein. It
is strange but this baby only sleeps fairly well when she
is hospitalized....which makes me nervous....I can only
think of two possible reasons. 1.The mother relaxes a bit
because they are in hospital and the hospital "takes
responsibility". 2. This baby is being sabotaged...which
is hard to believe but one never knows. Yes the mother
takes iron because of anemia...she could not stop taking
it because of her low Hgb but switched to a natural iron
preparation. This baby also throws up after breastfeeding.
I will suggest again that they try and stop the iron.

letter "form" On my screen it looks fine - but I noticed
that my letters seem to fall apart in the digest. I wonder
if it will now. If it does, does anyone know why?
