I was intrigued by this and this is what I found.

This is an immunologic disorder characterized by deficient moisture
production of the lacrimal, salivary and other glands resulting in dryness
of eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. The symtoms affect primarily
women over the age of 40. sjogrens syndrome is frequently associated with
Raynaud's phenomenon, rheumatoid arthritis, waldenstrom's macroglobuinemia,
and lymphoma. Treatment includes application of artificail tears and the use
of soft contact lenses that can be moistened often, sipping fluids frequently
and avoiding use of medications that tend to deplete body fluids.

How has prolactin been implicated? It would seem that these doctors feel
that in some way prolactin is interfereing with the glands ability to excrete
fluids. It doesn't make sense to me. I would ask the doctor for the studies
implicating it. I would love to know the outcome of this.
