As I've been following all the posts about WHO/UNICEF's BFHI & the lack of
steam in USA, I wondered how we might make breastfeeding an issue (Healthy
People 2000 goals & BFHI) in the current USA political scene.  Maybe if (in
our spare time) we wrote letters to the candidates requesting their position
on these issues & sent educational info along.  Not that I seriously thing
this alone would get a response . . . .  Any other ideas?  Or is this all
wishful thinking?
