I have a client diagnosed w/ giardia; baby is 4 wk. old.  Her physician
prescribed a 5 day course of Flagyl w/ bf hold for 1 wk.  I told her of
alternative single 2 gm dose & also furazolidone, mentioned in BF Ans. Book.
Can't find the latter med. in 1995 ed. Meds. & Mothers' Milk.  Any insight
would be helpful.  Thanks.
