Yes, I know of one Mom who experienced this with her son.  Didn't click at
the time that
his permanent "nursing strike" was due to her daily consumption of peanut
butter until he was a year old and he was given a peanut butter cookie.
 Shortly after, he had to be
rushed to ER.

Peanut butter seems to be a common offender but there are many foods that
some kids
just cannot tolerate at all.  It seems to be highly individual and some are
much more
sensative than others.

I have even heard of certain food additives such as MSG consumption by Mom or
child
wrecking havoc on their poor little systems.
