I have been lurking on Lactnet for several weeks now and appreciate the
information.  I am currently working to become a lactation professional,
and I have a question about gentian violet.  On another discussion
group, it was reported that geniantian violet causes cancer!  Is this
true?  No references were given for research.  I'm sure many LLL leaders
and LCs would need to know if this is the case.  I do have a personal
interest in this as well, but I would like to know if I should refrain
from recommending this in the future.  I am aware of Nystatin, Diflucan,
etc.
