Remember there are other sources of lead, especially the water used to
prepare the "other stuff."  The IQ deficit caused by lead poisoning is 2-4
points depending on the study. The IQ difference in premies fed human milk
vs. ABM by tube is 8 points according to Lucas's study. So - could we
conclude that the harmful effects of lead (unquestioned now) are half to
one-quarter of the risk from ABM???

Linda Smith, wondering how much more trouble I could cause if I were smarter
because I had been breastfed. Mom tried, but failed probably due to really
bad management advice.
