Norma: The PDR is the last place to look for information about whether a
drug can be used during lactation. The information is written by the
drug manufacturers, probably with the main goal of covering themselves
legally. I doubt that any but a few of the drugs which the AAP and/or
Dr. Hale and/or Briggs consider compatible are also stated to be
compatible in the PDR. I recommend that the pharmacist get a copy of Dr.
Hale's book or Briggs. Alicia. [log in to unmask]
