Dear Lacteneers:

Mt name is Socorro Caanen and I ama LLLL and C.L.E. Although I introduced
myself a few months ago, this is my first time writting to the group.

Yesterday my mother in law sent me a pen with a pink ribbon. It has been
sold by a cosmetics company to support breast cancer awareness. It occured
to me that there are ribbons to make people aware of all sorts of things.
Red for AIDS, pink for breast cancer, Lilac for the return of Polly Klass,
Yellow for the return of the Desert Storm soldiers etc. I had thought about
this a long time ago but had put it on the back burner. I don't know the
legistics or what it would take, but wouldn't it be neat if we all chose a
ribbon color so we could make the world a little bit more aware of
breastfeeding? Just a thought...

respectfully yours
Socorro Caanen LLLL, C.L.E.
