Kathleen,

Difficult to tell if this is true Sheehan's or not.  Did she go into shock
from the blood loss?  The body, from fluid depletion, will often not regroup
for awhile, and her milk may yet come in.  You might want to check prolactin
levels as that may give you a good idea from an endocrinological perspective
what is happening.  With Sheehan's, you get a pituitary infarct, and lots of
things are affected, including thyroid, fertility, etc.

By the way, is our fav. AOL digest on the fritz again?  I switched to "mail"
-- anyone else having a problem, or is it just me?
