Hello again,
First, I want to thank everyone for their responses to my question on
breastfeeding and lupus. I passed everything on to the Mom.
Secondly, I have two more question:
        1) A 31 year old mom with a two month old nursing baby called me. She
has a history of endometriosis and is experiencing a lot of pain from it. As a
result, she has been taking breastfeeding compatible pain relievers, but she is
still in pain (some days she does not feel up to getting out of bed). She has
two other children so, needs to find another solution. Her physician has
recommended going on a hormone treatment and weaning. Breastfeeding is really a
part of her mothering and she does not want to wean. Her husband has told her
to do the best thing for her health. I recommended she try to get a second
opinion. Does anyone know anything about this?
             2) Another mom called me about breastfeeding and SCUBA diving. I
know you should not dive when you are pregnant, but don't have any information
on the effects diving can have on a mother's milk. Has anyone had any
experience with this?
Thanks for your time and consideration,
