Jay,

My references say that the caloric content of formula is 75 calories/100 ml.
 Formula is modeled on the caloric content of breastmilk (hmmmm wonder why?)
and giving that the supply is there, the baby nurses long enough and the
mother is adequately nourished, the caloric content should be the same.
