Dear Linda

If you really want to scare the bejeebers out you. read through a few old
issues of a dairy herders magazine. I had nothing to do while in a laundry
mat on vacation and started reading the left over magazines on the table.
Sorry I don't rember the full title of the magazines.

The magazine had lots of advertising about all the necessary additives(drugs)
routinly needed to keep these poor beasts healthy. what caught my eye was the
amount of antibiotics etc that is nessary for higher milk yeild. Also there
were ads for bovine growth hormone (the stuff that doubles milk yeild per
cow) I started reading the fine print on the mastitis rates while using the
hormone many times upward to 75% all requiring treatment with antibiotics.

And they have the nerve to worry about what contaminants are in mothers milk.
