I don't have any references to support my obseervations at hand but I
also have noticed an increase in sleepy babies who have difficulty in the
first few days with breastfeeding.  I don't know whether it is related to
coming out before baby is ready, increased medications for pain, the
agents used to induce labor or all of the above.  I am wondering,
Jeannette, are you guys tracking the reasons given for these inductions?
Beyond a lit review, is there someone the MD's might respect who come to
your hospital to do a presentation on this topic (who can discuss the
benefits/hazards of induction, and problems associated with it)?
