A baby with such severe problem and a bleed after birth is very
concerning. What kind of delivery did this baby have, any problems.
Any problems with clotting blood such as hemophilia or vit K deficiency?
The lack of suck reflex may be secondary to brain dammage (the docs will
problaby look again to see if there is truly no tissue dammage) or too
much medications on board (what are the phenobarbital and dilantin
levels). If baby doesnt eat, you must feed with a "gavage" tube (put in
the stomach via nose or mouth). There is usually no way to predict what
the outcome of this baby will be. only time will tell.

Let me know the outcome

Maryelle
