I'll leave the question of what could have caused such a spontaneous
onset of mastitis to others with more experience in that area.  As for
the mechanism of anticoagulation with aspirin, its main action is in
decreasing the "stickiness" of platelets (little cell fragments which
travel to areas of injury and stick together to make a clot).  Alicia.
