If there is a study linked that I can read, please let me know:

I noticed that NOD’s web instructions for Formic Pro differentiate
single-pad application and dual-pad application. It specifies single-pad
is “for control of mites in the dispersal phase” whereas dual-pad is “for
under the cap varroa control.”

Nearly every beekeeper that tells me they are using FP is going for a
single-pad (twice) under the guise it’s easier on the bees. I they assume
the efficacy is equivalent.

I never use the one-at-a-time method. I figure the queen in question can be
replaced but the whole colony is dead if mites aren’t brought under control
promptly.

Can I rightly tell folks that efficacy is reduced with their attempts to
appease the bees?
