Hi all,

I would like to know how many LCs here work with EPIC. In my organization (Public Health Dept), the LCs are considered part of the health clinic so we must use EPIC. The problem is that there are no provisions for lactation consultations. We document in the "Notes" section, which becomes our doctor's report faxed to peds and outside OBs, so we need to structure our notes accordingly. We struggle with doctor's wanting less to read from us but this being our documentation of record. Would love to hear people's thoughts.

Thanks,

Lisa Marasco
