I was part of BIP from before the beginning of it until about 3 years ago.
I checked on Friday with a colleague who was still working with BIP to
confirm what was reported here about staff being fired. I received
confirmation that staff, including my colleague, had been laid off. No
additional information was given to my friend about the future of BIP.
