My friends told me a while back that bulk white honey in totes or drums in Canada was $3 /lb (CAD)

Back in 1970, it was about 12c. (CAD)

In 1972, 2lb package bees with queen, delivered in Canada were $6 in small lots.

I bought a load of white bulk honey for 37c/lb at one point in the late seventies when the market cratered.

When I sold out in 2001, I got $2.50/lb in the drum FOB my dock for one load.
