Prices are all over the map, but I often see honey for $10+ a pound. About 10 times as much as 1977. I wouldn't pay more than that

I started in working with bees in 1974 and I asked the boss for a quart of honey. As I recall, he want $1.50 (no freebees). That’s at a time when he was paying $1.50 an hour. (My memory may be off on those numbers). Ironically, I am selling honey myself now for $24 quart and when I retired in 2018 I was making about $24 hour as a lab tech.
